Objective

The art of negotiating involves finding a balance between achieving the best possible result, while establishing a mutual beneficial working relationship with your counterpart. Achieving this in a foreign language can be quiet a challenge. The language of negotiations in English focuses on English language skills development and cultural awareness. The approach develops communicative competence by putting the student at the centre of the action, actively using and practicing language skills, while gaining important insight into cultural differences in negotiation styles and needs.

  • Provide the opportunity for the participant to participate in reality based negotiation exercises, which are videotaped and followed by coaching and critique.

The training/coaching session will focus on effective win-win communications, positive energy, negotiation structure, preparation, basic presentation skills & techniques, body language, voice, eye contact, etc., during one-on-one, face-to-face negotiations. Training includes several on-camera exercises. These will be critiqued and coaching will be provided.
