11.04.2009 Opening Jeroen Bosch Institute in China is a fact

On 18 October the grand opening of Jeroen Bosch Communication Centre China in Xi'an took place.
It is the first Dutch language school that has a permanent foothold on Chinese soil. Representatives of the Xi'an government, companies, European institutes, and many other interested parties such as students, teachers and employees were present at the opening.

Mr Hans Hermes, Chairman of the Board of Directors, acknowledged the people who had worked so hard to make it all possible. The cooperation between a European company and a Chinese company offers a great opportunity to make use of the best of both cultures. He said he was very proud of the quality of the school and teachers and the special approach of the school with it's tailor made programmes.

Mrs Liu, general manager of the new school, explained how European and Chinese elements were also used in the furnishing of the school, how much work the employees had done in the preceding months and how many people had been helpful. She is convinced Jeroen Bosch Communication Centre China will be one of the best language schools in China in which to learn a language and to improve the communication between east and west.
