The Jeroen Bosch Institute is one of The Netherlands leading training centres. We've been giving instruction in 25 world languages since 1968. The Jeroen Bosch Institute started life in 's Hertogenbosch and moved later to Vught. Originally with a Belgian owner the Institute has been in Dutch hands since 2004. In 2005 the Arnhem Talen Centrum was added to the Jeroen Bosch Institute. In addition to the Vught and Arnhem locations there are now also locations in Maastricht, Germany (Kleve), Spain (Barcelona) and China (Xi'an).

Alongside this considerable expansion in locations our course package has also been extended. Since September 2009 Jeroen Bosch has offered M and M+ courses. M and M+ courses (the M stands for masterclass or manager) go a step further than the language and communication training that you are familiar with from us and other Dutch language institutes. They are aimed at the highly educated and middle and upper management.

Our institute is named after the famous Bosch painter Jheronimus (or Hiëronymus, or Jeroen) Bosch, who was born there around 1450 and died in August 1516. He was already renowned in his lifetime and painted by appointment to the king and dukes from around the world.

The line drawing is taken from what is assumed to be the only known portrait of him.

In 2016 it will be 500 years since his death. To celebrate this the city of Den Bosch will put its famous fellow townsman in the spotlight once again. The first festivities are already beginning in 2010.
